ARC Restoration were appointed as the specialist contractor for the cleaning and restoration of this prestigious building on the corner of Oxford Street and Wardour Street in the heart of London. It is now used as office space for a variety of companies.

The Oxford Street elevation was originally constructed in 1885. The return facades to Wardour and Holland Street were built in 1983. Arc Restoration’s particular task for this project was to ensure the sympathetic appearance of the facade to the Oxford Street elevation. This was achieved using a heritage approved cleaning system, and carrying out stone restoration to the intricate architectural stone details. The works for the newly constructed elevations, in contrast to the historic facade, required a more intrusive treatment so as to best match the new build elements.
